Bursitis- Inflammation or irritation of the bursae (small sacs of lubricating fluid in joints that provide cushioning to muscles, tendons, and skin as they slide across a bone). Symptoms include joint pain, stiffness, stinging pain and localized warmth. Causes include repetitive movement, rheumatoid arthritis, injury, excessive pressure, gout, and other conditions.
